Fairly Fantastic has a golf brand now. It's called Fairly Fantastic Golf.
Here's the actual reason it exists, because it started as a plumbing problem and not a branding one.
We have two golf apps. 18Snap turns your scorecard into a story card you can post. 18Recap turns a round worth remembering into a highlight reel you can share with friends and famiy. Different apps, different jobs, and (this is the part that matters) the exact same person on the other end. A golfer with a phone in the cart.
So we were running two accounts to reach one guy. Every post had to pick a side. Every follower we earned got earned twice.
The fix was boring and cheap. We renamed the @18recap TikTok account to @FairlyFantasticGolf in place. Same account, same followers, bigger job. Nobody started over from zero, which is the whole trick: widen an account you already have instead of standing up a new one. Instagram now matches.
One brand can say "scorecard in, story card out" and "highlight reels for rounds worth remembering" in the same breath and confuse absolutely nobody. A golfer does not care about our org chart. He cares whether his round looks good.
And the honest part: I golf twice a week. Both of these apps exist because I wanted them on my own phone first. 18Snap happened because I got jealous of the way Strava overlays run data on an IG story picture and wondered why my golf round didn't get to look like that. This was never a market I researched. It's a thing I do, and a thing I wanted, so I built it. And...I'm hoping others will want that too.
Which makes the umbrella easy to stand under. Golf is mine, so the golf brand is where all of it lands.
It lives at fairlyfantastic.com/golf, which is the one link to hand somebody who doesn't yet know which app he wants. That page also carries my recent rounds, pulled from actual scorecards, so it's less of a brochure and more of a window. When I play, it changes.
That's it. Back to building.
